Electoral College Vote 2012

I have decided to report on something the mainstream media will not touch. That is the real poll. We always hear the MSM talk about how close the race is. It’s not. The race is a blow out. I have bad news for Republicans: it looks like they are about to get blown out of the water by Obama. We will take a look at the only numbers that count, the electoral college votes. I will try to update this weekly or as things change.

As of August 13th 2012:

  • Obama has 237 ECV
  • Romney has 191 ECV
  • Tossup’s are 110 ECV

Now I have taken the time to break down all of the tossup states.

The following states go to Obama:

  • NV
  • FL
  • CO
  • IA
  • WI
  • OH
  • VA
  • NH

The following tossup states state goes to Romney:

  • NC

Factoring in which way the tossup states are leaning the final electoral college vote would be:

  • Obama 332
  • Romney 206

That is a lot of ground for Romney to make up. I will note that the “post selecting Paul Ryan” WI poll has yet to come out. So Romney could pick up 10 electoral votes shortly.
